This week is Congenital Heart Defects Awareness Week. I'm participating in the Paper Heart Project to help raise awareness. This project was started by Danielle Awwad, a fellow photographer whose family been personally touched by CHD.
One in one hundred ten babies are touched by CHD.
You can help raise awareness by posting a photo of anyone holding a paper heart and using the hastags #CHDawareness or #paperheartproject during the month of February.
If you or your child has CHD, draw a zipper on the paper heart and add the hashtag #hearthero.
You do not have to be a photographer to join in.
