We had the two oldest grandkids for a few weeks and took a little trip to the beach. We were attending a family wedding and we got there a little early (odd for me, but luckily I read the invitation wrong) and the kids got to run and play a little on the beach before the ceremony.
No getting into the water during this trip because the wind and waves were too strong and the temps were a little cool.
Either way, the fall is my favorite time to visit the beach!
